What is Subhadra Yojana’s main objective?

◾The aim of this scheme is to empower more than one crore women.
◾Under this, women will be paid a total of ₹10,000 per year in two installments of ₹5,000 each.


Which women cannot get the benefit of the Subhadra Scheme?

◾Financially women are strong, government job holders
◾is an income tax payer.
◾Should not have an income of ₹15000 or more under any government scheme.
◾People receiving assistance of Rs 18000 or more will not be eligible to receive Subhadra assistance.

What are the benefits of Subhadra Yojana for women?

Under the Subhadra scheme, such eligible women will be provided ₹50000 each for 5 years. A Subhadra debit card will also be issued to the beneficiaries.

The amount received from this scheme will be transferred directly to the Aadhaar bank account of women, apart from this, women will also get a debit card.

Women who do the maximum digital transactions in Gram Panchayat and urban bodies will be given an additional benefit of Rs 500.

Under the Subhadra Yojana, 100 beneficiaries with maximum digital transactions will be identified in each Gram Panchayat and Urban Local Body. They will be given ₹500 as an additional incentive

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants must be residents of Odisha.
  2. Only women are eligible to apply.
  3. Age must be between 21 and 60 years.
  4. Date of birth should fall between July 2, 1964, and July 1, 2003.
  5. NFSA and SFSS card holders are automatically eligible.
  6. Non-card holders can apply if the annual family income is below ₹2.5 lakh.
  7. Women who turn 60 during the scheme period (2024–2028) will remain eligible.
  8. Employed women, including outsourced workers, are eligible.
  9. Applicants must have an Aadhaar card linked to an active bank account.
  10. Completion of E-KYC verification is mandatory.
Online Subhadra Yojana (Online Process Method )

◾Visit the official website of the Women and Child Development Department.
◾Click on the Subhadra Yojana link.
◾Go to the online application form.
◾Fill in your personal and bank details.
Upload all required documents.
Review the information carefully and submit the form.
◾Authorities will review the application and verify the documents.
◾A list of selected beneficiaries will be prepared.
Successful applicants will be notified via SMS.

Offline Application Process Method

◾Fill out the application form.
◾Submit the completed form along with required documents at your nearest Mo Seva Kendra.
◾Applications will be verified by the concerned authorities.
Status updates will be shared via mobile SMS.
Selected beneficiaries will receive the Subhadra Yojana Credit Card at the Block Office or Anganwadi Center.
Financial assistance will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account, as per SOP guidelines.

Ineligibility criteria

◾Women receiving a monthly government pension of ₹1,500 or more.
Permanent or contractual employees of the Central or State Government.
◾Women who are below 21 years or above 60 years of age as of July 1, 2024 (for the 2024–25 period).
◾Families owning more than 5 acres of irrigated land or 10 acres of unirrigated land.
◾Owners of four-wheelers, except for tractors, small trucks, and commercial vehicles.
Current or former Members of Parliament (MPs) or Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
◾Individuals who pay income tax.
Elected representatives from Urban Local Bodies or Panchayati Raj Institutions
