Today I am going to tell you about a saint who is considered to be the founding saint of this society of Ireland. Every year on March 17, the entire church celebrates the festival of St Patrick’s.
Who were St Patrick's?
St Patrick’s was a fifth century saint of Ireland and a Romano British Christian missionary. We are not able to know the date of birth of St Patrick’s. Because everyone has different opinions. But he was an active missionary living in fifth century Ireland.
It is believed that he was born in a wealthy family, he was curious and intent on doing all tasks.
Why did the robber capture St Patrick's?
A group of IRS bandits attacked St Patrick’s and took him and his companions captive to an island. On the island, St Patrick’s were sold to other people. His owner bought him. After buying him, he was unable to walk as the animal was not able to find food to eat. The condition of St Patrick’s had become very bad.

Why didn't they put St Patrick's on board the ship?
St Patrick’s reached the port where the ship was standing. The ship owner started singing and requested the ship owner to take him along with him but the ship owner refused St Patrick’s. St Patrick’s did not have the fare to go. St Patrick’s started praying on his knees and the ship owner said that this is a man sent by God, let us take him along as well.
The owner of the ship invites St Patrick’s to come aboard the ship. St Patrick’s go aboard the ship and after thanking God they travel aboard the ship for three days and reach their home after travelling.
How St Patrick's became a priest
St Patrick’s stays at home for a few days and bids farewell to his parents and says that he does not want to go and becomes a priest. St Patrick’s parents refuse to let him go. But St Patrick’s wish was to become a priest.
St Patrick leaves his parents and sets out to become a priest. He goes to the Vishwapad and requests him. He wants to become a priest. Vishwapad sends him to the “navi” set to study to become a priest. St Patrick becomes a priest as soon as he completes his studies.

Why did St Patrick's want to go to Ireland?
After becoming a priest, St Patrick wanted to go to Ireland but his bishop gave him permission but after some time he was invited to leave from there. St Patrick is anointed. As a bishop. And he leaves for Ireland.
When he lands on the shore of St Patrick’s, he strikes the ground with his stick and many snakes are taken out and they go into the sea and die.
When St Patrick’s goes to meet people, they take out their sword to kill them but St Patrick’s says that he has been sent by God. And he is not afraid of anyone because his miracles were very amazing. People used to come to him to meet St Patrick but could not touch him.
What St Patrick refuted
St Patrick especially went to Ireland and worked to spread the faith of God. He refuted orthodox idol worship and other things and told all the people about the love of God and everyone believed in him.
Today St Patrick is considered the founding saint of Christianity in Ireland.
