6.The magnificent mile
This is what many call the heart of Chicago. This part of the city is a shopper’s paradise. While you will find some very high end stores, you will also be able to browse stores that are not as high end.
One can also enjoy observing the beauty of the chicken coop while walking up and down the magnificent mile.

9.Lincoln Park Zoo
While this zoo is not the largest only 49 acre it does offer a very nice collection of exhibits and animals. Which is always a great way to spend a few hour

Have a day at the beach You can find up to 26 different beaches in the Chicago area. The beaches along beautiful Lake Michigan are really nice. And the water is great too. Here are the top 3 to visit in my opinion.

Where you will enjoy swimming and watching the view of the Chicago skyline while enjoying your day at the beach and you will try to mimic the skyline with sand.
7.Millenium park
Will not quite as large as New York Central Park Chicago Millenium park is just as nice and what Millenium park really stand out is its architecture attraction while everyone visiting Chicago needs to get picture.

The pier is a must-see destination not only for its views of the city and Lake Michigan, it is also home to some great restaurants and attractions for your entertainment.

5.Shedd Aquarium
Shedd Aquarium Opened in 1930, the Shedd Aquarium is one of the best in the entire world. Once inside you’ll find five temporary exhibits to take in. Waters of the World, Caribbean Reef, Amazon Rising, Wild Reef, Abbott Oceanarium, the rest of the aquarium includes a children’s activities and play area, a theater, a stingray touch outdoor exhibit, and much more.
Aquariums are great rainy day activities or if you need a break from cold or hot temperatures depending on the time of year
4.Chicagos first lady
Chicago’s First Women’s River Cruise While there are many river cruises to be found in the Chicago area I think this one is the best overall and the Google rankings back up that opinion.
Get ready to enjoy a 90-minute tour of some of the most iconic buildings in history with these architectural marvels.

If they have availability, I recommend the evening river cruise. Everyone really needs to experience the waters of the Chicago River scrolling and bringing these views.
3.The field museum
Built in 1994, this huge museum is so popular that more than 1 million visitors spend a day here. The museum offers something for everyone. You will need to take out at least three to four hours of your day to enjoy each of the exhibits and attractions found in this museum.
Particularly the tyrannosaurus rex, which was the largest T-rex specimen ever discovered at that time, measuring 40.5 feet long and 13 feet tall.

Located in Willis Tower which is also known as the tallest building in Chicago, get ready to take in some of the most breathtaking views you will ever see in your life
How high is Willis Tower? Easily you can see four different states on a clear day. If you have the courage to step out onto the ledge that extends 4ft from the 103rd floor, this is one of the best photo opportunities in Chicago.
The experience is truly worth it and I highly recommend it, and there is another great observation deck just north of Willis Tower that you should know about.
It offers an even better view of Lake Michigan. This is the 360 Chicago Observation Deck. Located right on top of the John Hancock Building, you would love to enjoy your time 1000 feet above the streets of Chicago.
