9.To steki tou Psara
It is located in vlychada and right next to a lovely fishing port, it is also like a fish tavern. If you are a meat lover then don’t worry the following three restaurants will be all about meat
There’s usually a place you’ll see as a tourist and you’ll go but maybe you didn’t realize that most of them are sitting at log tables or are actually Greeks walking at a fast pace.
Because it’s a place where locals go, there are now many great fish taverns on the island. But what makes this specialty is the price, a big part of the sea hymn.

The port is the only one that costs 15 euros and has a kilo of steak that’s 2.2 pounds of meat, which is by far the best deal in Santorini. The roast is so delicious that it’s made nice and juicy.
If you want to eat like the people of this place then the town is like this. They have their own parking area so if you go there by car. It will be much easier if you go by bus. 7.Kali kardi(The Good Heart)

This restaurant is known as Kalikard or the good heart. Now this is the definition of a family-owned restaurant. The father Michaelis is a farmer, his wife Mrs Anna is the cook and their son does the cooking so it really couldn’t be more of a family owned business. Now this place is located in Akrotiri in the southern part of the island. And it is close to the Akrotiri lighthouse which is a famous place.
Enjoy watching the sunset there with your favorite dishes or bites in vinsanto sauce, vinsanto is Santorini’s traditional sweet wine. And one dish that everyone loves is the veal moussakas with white eggplant puree, a classic and you can also try their claro.
Chloro is Santorini’s local cheese. Feta cheese is not produced here. Chloro is the only real cheese. But Jan Yoga is an important thing that Chloro is produced in very less quantity. So it is not available in many places but Caligiara is available.
6.Metaxi mas
Metaxi mas is one of the best restaurants and I am not the only one who says this and the funny thing is that their food is usually priced at 15 to 18 euros. The favorites of this restaurant are kadafi cheese rolls, roasted plums with white eggplant and chickpeas with smoked trout. If you go there from taxi there is big parking area and it is only 2 minute’s walk from there.
Metaxi mas is a bit difficult to get to by bus today the nearest bus stop is the pharmacy however it’s still a 20 minute walk to it and there aren’t many sidewalks so you have to walk on the street and there will be work right next to you so I wouldn’t really recommend going there by bus
5.Cave of Nikolas
The cave of Nicholas is located in Akrotiri within walking distance from the Red Beach. The Akrotiri excavation site is located near the water. How lovely and important for you to know. You also need to know that the cave’s favorite dish is moussaka

The famous dish of this restaurant are beef stew, then it is homemade with skin so they are black and the belly is full of cheese but keep in mind that ROZAS cooks only local and seasonal products. So their menu keeps changing.
3.Lefkesh (in Finikia)
Lefkesh restaurant is located in finikia which is a cute little village by the way so if you go to Lefkes then definitely spend some time wandering the streets
Famous dish of this restaurant. pear ravioli’s name sounds weird but trust me it is amazing. Stuffed with pears. Gorgonzola sauce and marinated chirata is so good. Made with honey, the taste of the city is so delicious and then some. Really like it

2.Aroma Avlis (in exo gonia)
Aroma Avlis is located in Exo gonia. It is actually part of the Automas Turmologos winery. If you are looking for a tasting before your meal this is a great option. This is a very green and cozy area in a forest-type place.
Plus they have a great sea view, the favorite dish at this restaurant is the gamopilaf. It’s like a lamb risotto to which they add Greek yogurt. It’s delicious though. But it’s very rare to find a restaurant that actually has it on their menu.
If you are a beer baby fan then definitely order this printed gem and then another thing I love is the Pastourmadokefttedes which are filled with a spicy meat mixture.

This restaurant is known as Salty Bone. This restaurant serves only fish and the quality is excellent. The color of this dish is almost like black chocolate. But it is really delicious. Salty bone can be easily obtained from a can.
